Hailing from the Bronx, New York, Santos represents the best of both worlds.  He was born to a Dominican father and a Puerto Rican mother. His parents enrolled him in his church’s choir at the tender age of 12. He is a songwriter, actor and  producer. However, Santo’s claim to fame was his role as the (former) lead singer of the Bachata group Aventura.
