BioRachel Ashley Platten (born May 20, 1981) is an American pop singer and songwriter. She is best known for her 2015 single “Fight Song”, which has reached number 6 on the Billboard Adult Top 40 chart, number 3 on the Australian Singles Chart, number 8 in New Zealand, number 13 on the US Billboard Hot 100, number 15 on the Billboard Adult Contemporary chart and number 3 on the Billboard digital singles chart, meaning that it was the 3rd best selling single in the USA for the week ending July 4, 2015. The song is also quickly climbing the Billboard Canadian chart, up from 41 to 20 this week, and up to 10 on the “Canadian Digital Songs Chart”. She is also known for her 2011 single “1,000 Ships”, which peaked at number 24 on the US Billboard Adult Top 40 chart.
