ASTR_6Deeming themselves the NYC “noisemakers”, ASTR is the electronic future of R&B.  As fate would have it, the duo “met three years ago in a Manhattan yoga class, they discovered they shared a musical and artistic sensibility informed by cinema noire, Miami Vice and urban dreamscapes“.  Their cross-genre sound brought blended company, to include, Diplo and Friends at iHeart Radio.

Zoe’s signature hip-twirl tantalizes, but don’t let the pop art visuals in “Blue Hawaii” fool you. These edgy New Yorkers are trill enough to get an Instagram co-sign from Diddy himself.  ASTR frequents REVOLT TV, since the release of their dark and provocative single, “Operate”. Their “Varsity EP” includes original music and a sultry cover of Drake’s “Hold On We’re Going Home”.

Adam and Zoe maintain their melodic mystery and somehow are everywhere at the same time. As they tour cross-country,  they leave some of music’s most prestigious venues in a trance. Sparks fly live on stage and together they can pen just about any record.  ASTR’s growing soundclound buzzes, alongside BIG K.R.I.T., on the “Just Last Week” (Remix).  This new two-man band’s faces are hard to ignore. There is passion inked in every lyric, storyboard and showcase. Get acquainted, because all-in-all, ASTR is one of one.
