Having worked behind-the-scenes magic for T.I., Ariana Grande, and Chris Brown, Tommy Brown is now preparing to step out into a spotlight of his own. Today, the Los Angeles-based producer makes his debut as a rapper with “Trippin’ On Me,” a radio-ready calling-out of needlessly jealous girlfriends everywhere for which he’s solicited the help of two better known pals: Travi$ Scott and Eric Bellinger. “Being around them both early in their career and knowing they were both artists starting from ground zero, focused on what they were doing but coming from opposite worlds, I thought it would be cool to bring those two together and work on an idea that would mess people up,” Brown tells FADER. Hallelujah, more power to ya.
